Holy Cross and Saint Helen Catholic Church

I have this evening heard from Canon Tom Neylon that the churches named below have been given permission to re-open as of Sunday 21 June 2020:

St Anne + Bl Dominic Sun: 11am – 1pm. Wed + Fri 9-10am.
St Mary, Birchley Sun: 10am – 4pm. Wed: 10am – 2pm.

The Archbishop has been clear that no other church may be opened at this time.

A number of questions have been asked of Archbishop Malcolm regarding reopening; his answers are below:

The Sacrament of Reconciliation: In consultation with the other Archbishops, I do not envisage the availability of this Sacrament as part of this stage of re-opening. May I remind you of the advice given by Pope Francis for people to make an act of contrition and a purposeful decision to go to the Sacrament when it does become available.

Exposition: The Exposing of the Blessed Sacrament can take place before the church is opened and re-position must take place after it has closed.
